This is an Austrian FGGY M1895 Mannlicher Knife Bayonet. It’s in good shape for its age with typical wear from usage, storage, and handling. It has not been sharpened. It includes its metal scabbard with matching manufacturer markings and retains only about 90% of its original blueing. This was produced at Oesterreichische Waffenfabrik-Gesellschaft (Austrian State Weapons Manufacturing Company) in Steyr. Its blade measures 9.6″ and has an overall length of 14.125.”

The FGGY marking on a standard Mannlicher bayonet identifies it as a product of the Fegyver- és Gépgyár (Arms and Machine Factory) in Budapest, Hungary. These bayonets were standard issue for the Austro-Hungarian Army's M1895 (M.95) rifles and carbines during World War I.
