Hornady Handgun Hunter .44 Magnum 200gr MonoFlex Lead-Free 20/Box features Hornady manufactured MonoFlex handgun bullets, which are constructed with a rugged copper alloy that delivers deep penetration and achieves 95% weight retention. Reliable bullet expansion is achieved across a broad spectrum of velocities and is further supported by an elastomer material added to the bullet’s open tip cavity. Upon impact, the elastomer material compresses, then pushes out and causes the bullet to expand faster than standard hollow point bullets. This ammunition is built for hunting medium sized game (50 to 300 lbs) including whitetail deer, and for hunting large game (300 to 1500 lbs) including elk. This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, boxer primed, in reloadable brass cases.
