This is a very nice U.S. Military Underwood M1 Carbine made in 1943 during WW2. This carbine is all correct with its original Underwood barrel dated "2-43". The flat bolt, operating handle, trigger housing, trigger, sear, hammer, and stock set are all original WW2 production Underwood parts. As you can see from the pictures, this M1 carbine is a very good-looking weapon with the U.S. arsenal parkerized finish in very good condition overall. The gun shows a consistent level of wear on all of the exposed parts and a very uniform patina. The bore in this carbine is excellent, mirror-bright with sharp rifling throughout the barrel. There is no pitting, erosion, or imperfections visible. The original "I" cut stock set is really exceptional on this Standard Products M1 Carbine.
